Quick Start: Installation, Activation & License Setup – WP Import Export

Introduction

Welcome to WP Import Export. This guide walks you through downloading, installing, and activating your license key to unlock automated background processing, unlimited imports, and automatic updates.

Tip: If you purchased through VJInfotech, you can locate your license key anytime in your Customer Portal under the Licenses tab.

Step 1: Installing the Plugin

Download the latest zip package from your VJInfotech account dashboard.
Navigate to your WordPress Admin → Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
Choose the downloaded wp-import-export.zip file and click Install Now.
Click Activate Plugin.

Step 2: Activating Your License Key

To enable 1-click automatic updates and unlock priority support, enter your license key:

Go to WP Import Export → Settings → Licenses.
Paste your 32-character license key into the field.
Click Activate License. You should see a green badge indicating your license is Active.

Notice: Single-site licenses can be activated on one live site and one staging/local environment (such as localhost or .local) simultaneously.
