Summary: WP Import Export and Woo Import Export are WordPress software plugins. In a standard self-hosted workflow, files are processed by the WordPress site where the plugins are installed. Optional cloud integrations, AI features, licensing, purchases, support, and website services may involve the providers described in this policy. Actual data flows depend on the features enabled and the configuration used.

01.

Who We Are

“VJInfotech,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of vjinfotech.com and related products and services offered under the VJInfotech name. Our registered operating office is located at Khodiyar Nagar, Una, Gujarat 362560, India. This policy covers our website, product and license services, customer support, and our WordPress plugins, including WP Import Export and Woo Import Export, to the extent we determine how personal information is processed.

The administrator of a WordPress website using our plugin is generally responsible for that website’s own content, users, hosting, backups, permissions, and privacy notices. When the plugin processes site content on that site, VJInfotech does not automatically become the controller of all content stored there.

02.

Information We May Collect

The information collected depends on how you interact with us and which features you use. It may include:

  • Account and contact information: name, email address, company or organization, country/region, and details you provide when creating an account or contacting us.
  • Purchases and licensing: order and subscription details, license key, product/version, license activation status, site URL, and information needed to validate or renew a license. Payment providers handle payment-card details; we generally receive transaction and payment-status information.
  • Support requests: messages, attachments, diagnostic information, screenshots, logs, and details you choose to provide. Avoid sending passwords, access tokens, or unnecessary personal data.
  • Website and security data: IP address, browser/device information, timestamps, requested pages, referral information, and security/error logs, where collected by our website, hosting, or security systems.
  • Plugin operation data: information needed for a requested license check, update, download, or support function. Routine licensing checks are not intended to collect the contents of your WordPress database or import/export files unless a feature specifically requires and discloses such access.
  • Cookies: identifiers and preferences used by account, checkout, security, consent, and website functions, depending on the services enabled.
03.

WP Import Export, Woo Import Export, and Local File Processing

Local-First Execution Architecture:
WP Import Export and Woo Import Export import and export supported data formats through the WordPress site on which they are installed. In a standard local-processing workflow, the plugins read the file selected by the site administrator and process it within that WordPress environment. Files, records, logs, and history may be stored in the site’s uploads directory or database according to plugin settings and the administrator’s configuration.

VJInfotech does not receive file contents merely because the plugin is installed. Data may be transmitted when the administrator deliberately uses a remote source/destination, connects a third-party service, submits information to an AI provider, requests support, or uses a feature that communicates with VJInfotech or another provider. The site owner controls site access, retention, backups, and user permissions.

04.

Remote Server & URL Integrations

If you connect FTP, SFTP, or a remote URL feed endpoint, the plugin directly connects from your WordPress server to the remote service to read or deliver import and export files. Data transferred may include spreadsheet files, product catalogs, and scheduled export archives.

In this direct-connection architecture, remote API or FTP requests are executed directly from your WordPress server. VJInfotech does not intermediate, access, or store your storage credentials, secret keys, or transferred file contents on our servers.

Credentials and connection parameters (such as FTP or SFTP host credentials) are stored locally within your WordPress installation options database table and can be removed or altered by your site administrator at any time.

05.

AI-Assisted Features and Providers

Optional AI-assisted mapping, chat, or related features may send your prompt, field/column names, schema descriptions, sample values, or other content you choose to submit to the AI provider selected or configured for that feature. Providers may include OpenAI or another provider supported by the product.

Before enabling an AI feature, the site administrator should review the provider’s terms, privacy policy, retention settings, and data-processing options. Do not submit sensitive or confidential information unless authorized and appropriate. Customer data is never used to train generalized AI models.

06.

Purposes and Legal Bases

We may use information to provide accounts, purchases, downloads, license activation and updates; respond to support requests; diagnose errors; operate and secure our website and products; process payments and prevent fraud; send transactional messages; comply with legal obligations; and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely as appropriate on contract performance, steps taken at your request, legal obligations, legitimate interests in operating and securing our services, or consent. You may withdraw consent where processing relies on it; withdrawal does not affect prior lawful processing.

07.

Sharing of Information

We may share information as needed with website/hosting, infrastructure, security, support, email, payment, and software-distribution providers; third-party services you connect; AI providers when you choose an AI feature that sends information to them; professional advisers or authorities where legally necessary; and parties involved in a business transfer, subject to applicable law and required notices or consent.

Zero Sale of Personal Data: We do not sell personal information for money. We do not share customer data with advertising platforms or data brokers, and do not use customer data for targeted advertising.

08.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our website may use cookies for essential functions such as login sessions, cart/checkout, security, preferences, and consent choices. Optional analytics or other non-essential technologies may be used where enabled and as permitted by applicable law. Actual cookies and durations depend on the website features and third-party services active at the time; this policy does not promise a fixed cookie list.

You can manage cookies through browser settings and, where provided, our cookie-preference tool. Blocking essential cookies may affect account, checkout, or security functions. If analytics or advertising technologies are enabled, the website’s cookie notice and controls should identify them and obtain consent where required.

Retention

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including providing services, maintaining license and transaction records, resolving support issues, meeting legal obligations, and protecting our services. Account/license information may be retained while active and for a reasonable period afterward; financial records may be retained as required by law; support tickets and diagnostic logs may be retained as needed to resolve and prevent issues.

Files imported into a customer’s WordPress site and its import/export history are generally controlled by that site’s administrator and hosting configuration. OAuth tokens should be deleted when the user disconnects the integration or they are no longer needed, subject to technical limitations and lawful retention requirements.

10.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the information we handle. No website, plugin, database, or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Security also depends on the customer’s WordPress installation, hosting, administrator accounts, permissions, updates, backups, and third-party services. Site administrators should keep software updated, restrict access, use strong authentication, and protect backups and credentials.

11.

International Transfers

We and our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, we will use a legally recognized transfer mechanism or other valid safeguard. Available protections may vary by destination and provider.

12.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection to certain processing; withdraw consent; or complain to a data-protection authority. Rights are subject to legal exceptions and identity verification.

To make a request, email privacy@vjinfotech.com. Identify the relevant account, purchase, website, or request so we can locate the information. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. For data held by a WordPress website you do not operate, contact that website’s administrator.

13.

California and Other Regional Privacy Laws

Residents of California and other jurisdictions may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws. Where a law applies, we will provide required disclosures and honor eligible requests. We do not sell personal information for money. We do not knowingly share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising unless a separate compliant notice and choice mechanism applies. The scope of rights depends on applicable law and circumstances.

14.

Children’s Privacy

Our website, software, and services are intended for adults and business users, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact privacy@vjinfotech.com.

15.

Browser Privacy Signals

Browser privacy signals and “Do Not Track” settings are not interpreted consistently across all systems. Where applicable law requires recognition of a particular opt-out preference signal, we will handle it as required by that law. You can also manage cookies through available site controls and browser settings.

16.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in products, data practices, service providers, or legal requirements. We will update the “Last updated” date and, where a change materially affects personal information, provide additional notice and obtain consent where required.
